Private Beta Terms
Headroom is currently a private beta budgeting and financial-planning application. Beta features may change, fail, or be unavailable while testing is underway.
Eligibility and account responsibility
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials, devices, email account, and MFA codes. Household Owners are responsible for invitations and permissions they grant to household members.
Financial information and guidance
Headroom provides budgeting, forecasting, categorization, reporting, debt-planning, and AI-assisted guidance for informational purposes. Headroom is not a bank, lender, investment adviser, tax adviser, or financial planner, and its forecasts or suggestions are not guarantees of future balances, savings, or outcomes.
Connected financial services
Bank and transaction connectivity may be provided through Plaid and supported financial institutions. Availability, data accuracy, pending transactions, posted transactions, institution outages, and reauthentication can affect what Headroom displays. You remain responsible for reviewing information against your financial institution records.
Beta risk and availability
Because this is a beta, Headroom may contain defects or incomplete functionality. Do not rely on Headroom as the sole source for preventing overdrafts, scheduling payments, meeting debt obligations, filing taxes, or making other time-sensitive financial decisions.
Household privacy
Headroom supports household roles, permissions, and Shared or Personal account visibility. You should only invite people you trust and should review permissions regularly. Personal-account visibility is designed to restrict other adult household members from viewing that account through Headroom.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access another user's data without authorization, bypass security controls, interfere with service operation, reverse engineer protected systems, or use Headroom for unlawful activity.
Feedback
Private-beta feedback may be used to improve Headroom. Please avoid including passwords, MFA codes, full account numbers, banking credentials, or other unnecessary sensitive information in support messages.
Suspension and changes
Access may be limited or suspended when reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, address security problems, or maintain the service. Features and these beta terms may be updated as the product changes.

The beta service is provided on an as-available basis to the extent permitted by law. No representation is made that every forecast, category, transaction sync, recommendation, or third-party connection will always be complete or error-free.
